There has been a widespread mindset shift towards reducing carbon emissions, due to becoming more and more aware of how our actions impact the planet.

What is Carbon Dioxide?

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the primary greenhouse gas emitted through human activities. CO2 enters the atmosphere by burning fossil fuels (such as coal, natural gas, and oil), waste, trees, and other biological materials.
A natural amount of CO2 has a misconception of being harmful, but it actually plays a crucial part in maintaining our ecosystem.

Carbon dioxide is removed from the atmosphere when it is absorbed by plants as part of the biological carbon cycle.
