With their first verified carbon footprint now complete, The Qube are collaborating with Auditel to design a forward-thinking carbon reduction plan that will significantly reduce their environmental impact.

The Qube is thrilled to have completed its first carbon footprint report, a significant milestone in their sustainability journey. As the organisation continues to grow and pursue larger public‑sector contracts, carbon tracking and reduction remain central priorities. Engaging early with Auditel, a specialist carbon team, was therefore essential, enabling The Qube to establish an accurate emissions baseline and develop a credible, actionable plan for long‑term carbon reduction.

The process has given the company a far clearer understanding of its key emission sources, and the team has already begun setting plans in motion. The Qube is energised and committed to progressing its carbon reduction plan over the coming months and years.

The Qube has not yet shared its results with wider clients or suppliers, but the team is looking forward to doing so in the near future. Internally, everyone within the organisation now has a clearer understanding of the new processes being introduced to improve emissions tracking, as well as the importance of capturing this information as accurately as possible.

Jordan Spittle, Managing Director at The Qube, comments, “Over the next couple of months we will be working on promoting our baseline carbon footprint but there is no rest for the wicked, we are also working towards our reduction plan and look forward to capturing our 25-26 emissions accurately.”

The Qube partnered with Richard Smith, Carbon Measurement and Reduction Specialist at Auditel, to complete its carbon reporting and reduction planning to a high standard. Through this collaboration, the company gained a clear understanding of its baseline footprint and key reduction opportunities.

The Qube recently completed its initial carbon workshop, which proved invaluable in helping the team better understand and interpret their emissions data. As a construction company specialising in design‑and‑build projects, carbon tracking is relatively new territory for them, making the workshop an important step in building their knowledge and confidence in this area.

Jordan Spittle continues, “the workshop made it a lot easier to understand and we worked closely with Richard to help simplify some of the data from within the report. This allowed us to focus on the ‘quick wins’ from a reduction perspective, as well as ensure that our tracking processes with suppliers and sub-contractors are stronger to ensure our data is as accurate as possible.”

“It feels fantastic to have completed our baseline carbon footprint and it has been a long time coming!”
