Sterling Safetywear is proud to announce the start of its journey to net zero. In partnership with carbon specialists Auditel, the company is now accurately measuring and reducing its emissions—taking meaningful steps toward a greener future for both the business and the planet.

Sustainability is at the heart of Sterling Safetywear’s future. While they acknowledge there’s still much to learn and achieve, they are committed to making it a core priority moving forward.
As part of this commitment, they have chosen to partner with Auditel to ensure their carbon emissions are measured with accuracy and transparency. This collaboration will also support them in identifying and implementing effective strategies to reduce their environmental impact over time.

Having now measured our Carbon Footprint for our baseline year, our first focus with the help of Auditel is reducing our scope 1 & 2 emissions.”
As customers begin to share their own carbon reduction journeys, Sterling Safetywear recognises the vital role they have to play. They are eager to lead by example and position themselves at the forefront of sustainability within their sector.
As part of their growing commitment to sustainability, Sterling Safetywear has replaced virgin plastic garment bags with recycled packaging alternatives. They are also actively working to incorporate recycled materials into all possible components of their safety footwear.
Camillia Denton-Smith, comments on the time frames Sterling Safetywear are working towards, “We are committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050, and in the short term are working on a plan to reduce our scope 1 & 2 emissions, with a target to reduce these by at least 42% by 2030.”
