Robert is based in Northern Ireland and works with business owners and FDs to provide ‘strategic procurement as-a-service’ (SPaaS), accelerating performance and profitability. He grew up in Larne, likes a bit of gym, plays golf(ish) and is currently learning Irish (Gaelige).
My background is a woven from higher education management, the charity sector, telecoms, sales and research in materials chemistry. I have a passion for automation, AI, unified comms and the wider digital transformation agenda. I believe that there are huge opportunities for organisations and businesses especially to embrace sustainability and green solutions.
The challenges that boards face today and in the future – from cybersecurity to PR, from energy efficiency to social impact – are huge and can be daunting, but having a trusted client-side advisor inside or outside your business, looking after procurement at both a strategic level and implementation allows you to focus on your core mission.
As part of the Auditel network, I have access to a huge wealth of knowledge, across Great Britain and Ireland – specialists and generalists. Northern Ireland is an excellent place to do business, to manufacture, provide services and innovate. With colleagues in the south, we work closely on an all-island framework and actively promote our services in the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce & Industry and other networking organisations.
As Mark Twain said: “I never let my schooling interfere with my education” – I stick by that every day to learn something new!”
