David Powell

David qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001 and post qualification worked for a FTSE250 Logistics Firm and Global Management Consultancy, before becoming involved with Auditel in late 2006.

He won Newcomer of the Year in his first year with Auditel and went on to win the Consultant of the Year in 2011 vs over 200 other Auditel Consultants.

David’s biggest billing error found has been a refund of c. £130,000 from one of the Big 6 Energy Companies.

Phil Bennett

After graduating, Phil spent six years working as a Technical Analyst for Fujitsu Siemens. He joined Auditel in 2010 and has primarily been involved in energy procurement and analysis, but has also taken on the role of Project Manager.

In addition to energy, he has helped our clients to achieve savings in area’s such as Waste Management, Water, Stationery and Merchant Cards.

Isobel Burgess

Isobel previously worked for 6 years at Baker Tilly and split her time between assisting a Senior Audit Partner and the Marketing Department. Her responsibilities included organising monthly intermediary networking events, topical seminars, round table discussions, database management, the implementation and organisation of campaigns to targeted sectors and one to one meetings.

In 2011, Isobel left Baker Tilly and joined the Auditel team in Leeds where she assists both David and Phil and is responsible for researching and sourcing new prospects, ensuring that the database and website are kept up to date, the collation of testimonials and organising the monthly networking email.

John Gavin

John has a long and illustrious career in sales and account management in a wide variety of industries. In addition he owned and ran his own company for 15 years.

John joined Auditel in 2018 and helps clients in a multitude of sectors but with a particular focus on Hospitality, Education and Manufacturing.
