Milestones Trust recognises the UK government’s guidelines requiring all businesses to work toward net zero by 2050. As part of this commitment, the Trust ensures that its environmental initiatives are clearly demonstrated in all new business tenders, reflecting its dedication to sustainability and compliance with national expectations.
Milestones Trust has already taken significant steps to reduce its carbon emissions through a series of decarbonisation projects. LED lighting has been installed in most properties, with the remainder scheduled for completion within 18 months.
Additionally, the Trust has planned an investment programme to upgrade or replace windows and heating systems, ensuring all properties achieve high energy performance ratings.
