David Kendall

Prior to joining Auditel, David qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and then progressed to hold several corporate level positions within the Saint-Gobain Group, one of the world’s largest distribution and manufacturing businesses.

David is an industry specialist and has a wealth of finance, risk management, and cost management experience.

David’s role focuses on leading the team and controlling the quality of our outputs, he also works closely with our professional services partners to promote Auditel and support their clients in achieving their cost management goals.

David adopts a hands on approach and he is actively involved in all complex projects reviews to ensure the best result for our client’s needs.

Polly Lawrence

As a professional and experienced buyer, Polly’s principal role is to lead the procurement and supplier management side of our business. Polly has extensive knowledge of the marketplace, suppliers, and services that are available for nearly all areas of indirect expense. Polly focuses on all elements of the procurement cycle over and above the pure cost savings.

Our processes are designed to understand the profile, needs, and objectives of our clients before investigating appropriate solutions. Suppliers are important to Polly and throughout her career she has amassed a portfolio of valuable and trusted industry contacts that help us to achieve some credible results for our clients. Polly can also work with your existing suppliers to identify means of increasing cost efficiency within your supply chain.

Polly is an ACE (Accredited Category Expert) in the areas of couriers, freight and packaging.

Elaine Kennard

Elaine joined Auditel with a vast amount of experience at corporate level. Having previously been in management roles at a national hotel chain for over 24 years, Elaine has fast become a valuable asset to the Auditel team.

Elaine is responsible for our back office function, from maintaining all internal systems to organising our consultant resources and client engagements. Elaine manages many of our key supplier relationships, as well as our governance and compliance responsibilities.

Elaine should be the first port of call for any of our clients and prospects and will ensure that you receive the highest level of service at all times.

Sam Burgess

Sam has over 15 years’ experience in senior administrative roles for large and listed companies, and most recently Jaguar Land Rover. Following a period of maternity leave Sam joined the Auditel team in June 2021 as an analyst to provide project and data support to our core consultancy team. Sam has grasped the Auditel model and fast become a valuable and reliable member of our back office team.

Thomas Kendall

Tom is a successful and driven business development professional with over 20 years’ B2B sales experience in medium and large corporate organisations across a range of sectors, including technology, publishing, marketing data and intelligence, and e-commerce.

Tom has worked with companies at various stages of their lifecycle, including high growth businesses, businesses already operating as market leaders and seeking diversification into different sectors along with high profile businesses that were being prepared for sale.

Tom’s principle role will be consulting with businesses to begin their Carbon journey. Firstly helping businesses understand their Carbon Footprint leading to a full detailed Carbon and Cost Reduction plan to work towards accredited Carbon Neutrality.

Paul Copsey

Paul has over 20 years’ experience in Sales and Customer Service Management, including time spent in the SME and domestic energy and telecoms markets. As well as focusing on customer service and client operational matters, Paul undertakes energy and telecommunications projects for new and existing clients.

Stephen Sowerby

Upon gaining a First Class Honours degree from Manchester University in Management Studies, Stephen went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant.

With over 4 years’ experience in a ‘big four’ accountancy firm, and a further 4 years with Auditel he has gained the experience, knowledge and skills necessary to be able to analytically identify cost saving opportunities in a vast range of technical areas.

Stephen is a highly respected member of the network and has won several valued awards for his high client service and his commitment to the Auditel system.

David Powell

David qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001 and post qualification worked for a FTSE250 Logistics Firm and Global Management Consultancy, before becoming involved with Auditel in late 2006. He won Newcomer of the Year in his first year with Auditel and has gone on to win the Consultant of the Year several times since.

David has specialism in high spend and complex cost categories, and all areas associated to communication and technology. Retrospective cost auditing is also an area of skill for David, often identifying and recovering billing errors into the hundreds of thousands.

Alan Ford

Alan Ford

Alan is a Chartered Engineer with a first class honours degree in Computer Aided Engineering. His technical and analytical background serves him well in all aspects of cost management. He has extensive experience in dealing with suppliers and customers alike from project conception through to implementation and continuing improvement.

Alan is a Lead Assessor for the government led Energy Saving Opportunity Scheme (“ESOS”) and supports some of our largest and most complex clients with their compliance requirements.

An Auditel consultant since 2004 Alan is regarded as one of the most respected professionals in our business. Alan has won numerous awards including consultant of the year on multiple occasions and is highly experienced in delivering results across a vast array of indirect cost categories.

Mike Andrews

After graduating with a first class honours degree in Construction Management, Mike went on to work in various senior management roles in a large multi national construction company (Laing).

Mike’s project management and relationship skills help to ensure the team are focused, and resourced, to deliver on the savings initiatives and our clients needs. Mike has a keen eye for detail, whilst also having a good grasp on the bigger picture, and how our work fits in with the clients wider corporate initiatives, opportunities and staff.

Mike keeps abreast of the wide and varied industry changes in the sectors we work, he has a very personable and professional approach. He is passionate about communication and ensuring all stakeholders to a project are involved, bringing their experience and knowledge to bear, delivering the best outcome for our clients.

Lee Freeman

Lee qualified as a chartered accountant with one of the UK’s top 10 practices and has spent a number of years in various senior finance roles with a number of publicly quoted and privately owned organisations, both in the UK and overseas.

This insight has provided first hand experience of the challenges that businesses face and has led to significant projects advising companies on how to improve their long term approach to procurement and deliver savings for the client.
