In 1993, we were a founding partner of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) ensuring the forests we sourced from globally, were being managed responsibly for the supply of raw materials. The timber was harvested as part of a carefully prepared management plan, biodiversity was maintained, and the forests were protected for the long term. During the following 22 years, we manufactured white label & branded consumer goods from FSC® certified forests for the European home decor retail market. This was achieved with COC accreditation, in a third-party verification partnership with the Soil Association. I held a number of senior roles in corporate affairs, strategic direction & business development.
