About Debbie Davies
Prior to becoming an Auditel consultant, Debbie worked for the Trinity Mirror group.
Her career started at the Liverpool Echo, and over her twenty year history with them, progressed from Sales Management to Managing Director of some of the regions most respected regional newspapers including The Coventry Telegraph and Birmingham Post.
Debbie’s areas of responsibility included Advertising Sales, Marketing, Newspaper Sales, Digital Sales, Sponsorship, Exhibitions, Printing and Editorial, across many sites, covering many different regions.
Debbie managed and implemented numerous projects including redesigning products, moving premises, restructuring in all business functions, and delivered cost savings of some £14 million.
It was through this delivery of cost savings that made Debbie understand the pressures that many Companies and Directors face and how important looking at costs can be. Debbie also saw what a dramatic effect cost savings can have on profitability. So when Debbie was looking for a change in career, Auditel was the perfect match for her skill set.
Debbie sat on the NSPCC business group Coventry raising over 100k per annum, is a Governor at City College Coventry, was a judge and main presenter of the Coventry Godiva Awards, and Coventry Telegraph Business awards, and is Chapter Director and Ambassador for BNI Kenilworth/Rugby.
When Debbie wants to relax, she loves nothing more than taking her Black Labrador for long walks at weekends, oh and watching Everton FC!
