Carlton Forest Group is delighted to have joined forces with their Carbon Partner Auditel to deliver their objective of becoming Carbon Neutral while on their longer-term journey to reaching Net Zero.

Carlton Forest Group is an established 3PL provider operating over 1.3 million square foot of warehouse space across four sites in Yorkshire and the north midlands.

Employing over 130 staff, the award-winning business most recently saw it’s Deputy CEO Diane Ward, receive industry accolades for CILT Diversity Champion and Everywoman Industry Champion.

It supports businesses across the UK with a full range of 3PL services including haulage, warehousing, freight forwarding, cross docking, pick and pack and hazardous good transportation.

Lucy Crapper Group Marketing and Communications Manager for Carlton Forest Group comments, “In the coming years, environmental concerns will drive a shift towards more sustainable logistics practices. This includes the adoption of electric vehicles, alternative fuels, and greener packaging. Suppliers and customers will be increasingly conscious of their carbon footprint, demanding eco-friendly solutions.

Overall, the future of logistics promises increased speed, efficiency, and sustainability. Both suppliers and customers will need to embrace these changes, adapt to new technologies, and leverage data-driven insights to stay competitive in the evolving landscape.

Logistics processes will become increasingly automated, with the adoption of technologies such as autonomous vehicles, drones, and robots.  This automation will improve efficiency, reduce human error, and speed up delivery times. Furthermore, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with automation, will only help to drive sustainability and net zero goals for the logistics sector.”

Julie Adams, Principle Carbon Consultant at Auditel said, “Carlton Forest are already progressive leaders in their thoughts and working towards sustainability and is looking forward to working with the great team at Carlton Forest on their journey to Net Zero.”
