Natalie Hays QHSE & Compliance Manager for  the UK & EU comments, “Across the organisation, Blackline’s sustainability goals support the responsible growth of our business to benefit shareholders, stakeholders and society as a whole. Following a successful carbon footprinting audit with Auditel, across our offices in Colchester UK and Fresnes-lès-Montauban in France,  we  revealed that our carbon emissions were 208.29 tCO2e. We are now delighted to be in a strong position to be able to verify our carbon-neutral status, next year.

Blackline Safety has been publishing annual Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reports since 2020, which outline our key sustainability goals. As an environmentally conscious business, we understand the importance of protecting the communities in which we operate and the world as a whole, and as a business we want to do our bit to protect the environment and provide a sustainable future for the generations to come.

This is why becoming net zero by 2030 is one of our key ESG goals. Achieving  Carbon Neutrality aligns with our policy for Continuous Improvement, where as a business we are always asking the question, how can we make our products, our services, our customer experience, our workplace, better?

As stated by our CEO, Cody Slater in our 2022 ESG report, this mindset is ingrained in our culture and in our corporate values, which prioritise innovation, resilience, leadership and empowerment. And it extends into our commitment to sustainability.”
