The South Staffordshire Golf Club, formed in 1892, is an 18-hole, private members parkland golf course. It is based at Tettenhall, Wolverhampton on a site of some 160 acres and has around 550 members.
New Club Manager, Sue LeBeau, first met Auditel at the British Turf Management Exhibition in Harrogate in January 2008.

When Sue LeBeau, first heard about Auditel and their approach to cost management she was sceptical. The proposal simply sounded too good to be true.
However, she soon realised that the offer was also too good to ignore. After all, whatever the outcome it would at worst cost nothing and show the Club’s costs to be in good order or, at best, reduce their overheads.
She remembers, “I wasn’t sure what could be achieved, but I was impressed by the amount of groundwork that Auditel had done up front. So I asked them to look at the clubs electricity bills, which had risen considerably.”
Auditel soon discovered from the billing that there were a number of incorrect readings that didn’t tally. This led to a credit note for £2,000 being issued by the supplier.
Sue was delighted by this initial success and asked Auditel to look at all the clubs fixed line, electricity and gas costs. The results have been impressive: Annual savings of £1,000 on line rental and call costs by transferring to a new provider and savings of over £7,000 and £2,500 on electricity and gas respectively achieved by using Auditel’s buying power.
