Harvey Owen, Partner, Nicklin & Co explains, “Listening to our clients has enabled us to develop specialist areas within the practice to provide non-traditional services. Our clients are operating in highly competitive markets, where it is difficult to achieve and maintain healthy profit margins.
At Nicklin & Co we have recognised that in today’s business environment, companies need to take every advantage available to them. The need for organisations to manage their non-strategic overheads has become increasingly important. However, it is not always viable for SME companies to employ an in-house specialist to look at noncore cost areas.”
Harvey and his colleagues realised the importance of joining forces with an organisation that would deliver the high level of service that their clients had come to expect and, since August 2001, Nicklin & Co has been working in partnership with Auditel Consultant Tony Dwyer to provide them with a specialist cost-management service.
Harvey is extremely pleased with the service that Tony has been providing, “Auditel’s cost-reduction service fits extremely well within our portfolio. Tony and his colleagues provide an independent consultancy service which is performance related. The fact that fees are payable out of the savings obtained
means our clients can use the Auditel service without any fear of increasing their overheads.”
Since making the Auditel service available to Nicklin & Co’s clients, it has been extremely successful with average savings of 29.6% and 31.1% being achieved on communications and electricity expenditures respectively.”
Savings Achieved:
Communications – 29.6% Saving
Electricity – 31.1% Saving
