In December 2009, the CBI published a report called "Time to prioritise energy efficiency: saving carbon and money". In it, they challenged business in the UK to "...routinely report their emissions, engage their employees in managing office energy use, assess the risks of a changing climate and innovate to exploit new low-carbon opportunities."
